It appears that Arsenal is being threatened by US Businessmen whose interest is money.
As A US Citizen and a Football Lover, I condemn any attempts by US Businessmen to buy Arsenal or any other clubs in England. They should concentrate on the MLS. Let me correct myself; since US Businessmen in its grand majority love money and have plundered institutions for money, they should be punished for their love of money above everything else.

what are you talking about?! They are so in debt from building the Emirates. They need a financial backer with deep pockets- regardless of nationality- to ensure that they can buy quality players and remain competitive.
Not as much in debt as Manchester United, Anne, with the Glazers not having completed the loan payments used to buy the club. Actually, Arsenal is financially stable as the stadium is projected to earn more soon. I remember reading somewhere that the club actually managed a profit this year. I doubt H-W and the board would have gone willingly into debt.
Also, Wenger has managed a fantastic team on a third of the capital that Manchester United and Chelsea possess. He himself doesn’t choose to buy expensive players. He likes investing on young and moderately priced talent. Fabregas was bought for GBP 500,000. How much do you think he’s worth now? Surely past the five million mark?
So Arsenal doesn’t need or want Kroenke. I would not mind investors who cared for the game and the club (like the Dubai group for Liverpool), but greedy Americans? No thanks.

I do not want greedy American Businessmen. We are already paying a high price sportswise. Anyway, the players at Arsenal can form a coop and buy whatever shares and own Arsenal. The American Businessmen should be concentrating on the MLS.

Arsenal are very well principled, I think having a good squad mentally is much better than buying ready made skills. The main problem they had this season was the two top strikers being out injured (thats why everyone keeps saying they keept the ball but cant score!!!) and they still managed a decent position in the prem.
Anyway, I’ll keep supporting them as long as Arsene is at the club!
