They will be wishing they had the points deduction in a few months time, when they have been relegated and when they want new signings.

Reading the three comments above, I can guess that they are not fans of West Ham United.

Matchreporter ? How can you be so sure that West Ham are going down ?

Yiddo, The 19th richest club in the entire English League is not in any form of debt that it has to worry about.

Sam, We will not have a problem signing new players, believe me.
We sold Joe Cole,Lampard,Carrick, and Defoe the last time we went down.
Does it not make you wonder that with quality like that in any team is it possible to get relegated?
You all know the answer of course.
If we go down this season...... And the fat lady is not singing just yet.... We will get rid of some of the dross we are carrying and we wont be there for long.

Aldridge angered by Hammers fine

Former West Ham chief executive Paul Aldridge could take legal action following the club's £5.5m fine for breaching transfer regulations and is confused as to how this came to light as he thought these facts were well hidden.

Aldridge says his reputation has been "besmirched" by the inquiry into the transfers of Argentine stars Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano, although he is happy than nothing else has been found after the his ten year tenure at the club.

Aldridge was chief executive when the pair were signed, pocketing a large amount in the process.

He says he was not called as a witness, invited to give a statement or notified in advance of allegations against him, as they already know it would have been a pack of lies anyway.

Aldridge said: "Naturally, my sympathies lie with the club I was chief executive of for 10 years in respect of what seems a very harsh sanction, Please note that I use the word 'Lie' in a completely different context.

"However, my own personal and professional reputations have been besmirched. The findings accuse me of acting dishonestly and lying, and someone has managed to discover this.

"This is hardly natural justice in my view. Until the publication of these findings, my integrity has never been questioned during my career, although I was often involved with a few dodgy deals that were well hidden and could not be proved.

"Accordingly, I have placed the matter in the hands of my lawyer who will be taking the matter further on my behalf, once he has managed to get Stevie Wonder a driving license.
He is very good as a lawyer as he managed to prove the innocence of O.J. Simpson so this could prove to be a challenge to him!
