Dwayne De Rosario of the Houston Dynamos has been selected MLS Player of the Week for week five of the MLS Season.

He received this honour because of the two goals he did that were crucial to Dynamo’s Victory over the Colorado Rapids. Congratulations to Dwayne De Rosario and the Houston Dynamos.

Dwayne De Rosario was born in Canada in 1978 to Guyanese Parents. He started his career with the Toronto Linx with three goals in seven appearances in 1997. In the same year, he changed clubs FSV Zwickau where he had one goal in twelve appearances. In 1999, Dwayen De Rosario changed to the Richmond Kickers and scored seventeen goals in thirty five appearances. From 2001 to 2005, he was able to score twenty seven goals in 108 appearances during his time in the San Jose Earthquakes.

In 2006, Dwayne De Rosario signed with the Houston Dynamos and has been scoring eleven goals in 33 appearances with the team.

In his busy schedule, Dwayne De Rosario has been able to play with the Canadian National Team [since 1998]. Dwayne De Rosario has expressed a desire to play with the Toronto FC. It remains to be seen when he will fulfill that dream.
