Beckham is going to play in the MLS with the LA Galaxy.

While this is old news, it inspired me to send a question to BBC 606 for their interview with David Beckham: For Mr. Beckham: taking into account that you will be going to play with the LA Galaxy, how do you see the possibilities of integrating into the LA Galaxy and MLS during the middle of the MLS Season? This question also takes into account one of the principal personalities of the LA Galaxy, Landon Donovan.

The question itself served as an inspiration to do an analysis on the personalities of Donovan and Beckham to answer the burning question: Will Donovan and Beckham form the best partnership or convert into rivals?

While Beckham and Donovan share the love of football, helping people who are having difficult times in their lives, and being married to actresses; Beckham and Donovan are two different personalities which can actually complement each other.

Beckham is football and showmanship rolled into one. He has given England and the rest of football world a dose of this great mixture. Even in his loss in the World Cup, this combination came out in a dignified form.

Donovan is mostly a hands on person when it comes to the game. He goes to the game as a love and as work with the intention of helping his team and US Soccer consolidate its hold on the international psyche.

While Journalists and Sports Pundits may write about a possible rivalry between the two, Beckham and Donovan will probably go down as the greatest partners of US Football, MLS, and LA Galaxy History.
