The English women will face one of the biggest football matches of their lives when they take on the United States Women in the Quarter Finals of the World Cup however the English women will feel confident as the U.S have yet to hit top gear.
The U.S women finished top of their group on 7 points but if you look at each of their matches it’s a different story. In their first match against North Korea they drew 2-2 but the team from East Asia should have won as they created more chances. Their Victory over Swedeen was deserved but their last victory against Nigeria 1-0 was highly fortitious and at the least Nigeria deserved a draw.
England drew twice and won once but to be fair to England they had a tougher group and drew with World Champions and favorites Germany. I think England can go into this feeling confident and it’s going to be a tough 90 minutes. The Winner goes through to the Semi-Final.
